I’m a data-informed UX designer, front-end developer, HCI/UX researcher, focused on design theory and philosophy of technology.
I’ve worked as a UX designer at Hypoteční banka and as a front-end developer at Ústav pro studium totalitních režimů (The Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes)
Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s degree in New Media Studies at Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, Charles University in Prague. Since June 2017, I’ve been studying Cognitive Informatics at University of Economics, Prague.
I’ve received BA in Information Technology and English Linguistics and Literature at Charles University in Prague, which I finished with a thesis on theory of (web) design.
During my BA, I studied philosophy for two semesters, which provided me with knowledge and methodology to think of technology in the broader web of socio-technological relations.
Academically, my interests are how technology impacts upon our lives and what philosophy can discover about the nature and „life“ of technology. To answer, theoretical and systemic approach is necessary. Therefore I research topics such as theory of design, systems theory, interaction design, philosophy of technology and wicked problems.
